Young Forest is a Spanish indie-folk band. They write their music under the sounds of their acoustic instruments (banjo and acoustic guitar) combined with careful vocal harmonies. Like a dance on a knife’s edge, Young Forest’s songs shift between optimistic, danceable parts and melancholic, strong outbursts. In their own words their songs are: “a direct way of confession, where we narrate our experiences in the most sincere way possible”.

Young Forest released their first self-published EP “Roar!” in 2016. The release not only brought the band a support-slot for Blind Pilot, but also gave them the opportunity to play at several international showcase-festivals like Festival Interestelar, Huercasa Country Festival or Woodfolk. Soon, the Madrid-based band began to be targeted by indie and folk music lovers.

After release their first LP "Looking North", the band is committed to bigger live format and they show a more mature and personal sound. In this new stage the echoes of their previous work are present as well as the band's interest to continue experimenting and evolving with music. This new work, carried out between Madrid and Nebraska, undoubtedly positions Young Forest as one of Spain’s hottest musical indie-folk band.
